What Mom should have done is not waste the meatloaf to begin with.
I just saw a commercial for Glad ForceFlex trash bags. The commercial is shot as a news broadcast for “Glad TV,” as anchored by two children.
The kids narrate a scene in which their mother appears to throw a leftover slice of meatloaf in the trash. The bag slips, and the meatloaf lands in the now-unlined garbage can, rather than in the trash bag. “Mom should have used Glad ForceFlex bags,” the kids say.
No, Mom should have saved the leftover slice of meatloaf for lunch the following day. A meatloaf sandwich can be delicious, and, anyway, there are starving children in China who would love to have had that slice of meatloaf.
